Sony becomes 2nd label on Vevo music video site

Vevo is online music video site which is expected to become very popular due to high performance. This news must bring cheers to all music lovers. This means videos and music of all famous artists like Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, and King of Leon, from Sony can be acquired through Vevo. The site will be launched with support from Universal Music Group and You Tube. Vevo.com is going to have own channel on You Tube, on revenue sharing basis. Other majors from music industry, Warner Music Group and EMI group are also in process of joining Vevo. It is been reported that, the site Vevo.com, will be also offering music downloads, gig tickets and various music related merchandize. The music industry is facing fall in sales of compact discs, and this new way of distributing music online is expected to give better results. Vevo apart from own site will also run channel on You Tube, sharing advertising revenues, generated from labels joining in.
