Camping can be loads of fun. Heading outdoors into some new area we have not been before or to a place remote and secluded that we just love to visit can be fun. We may go with a friend or in a group. But when you hike or go camping in the winter, make sure you follow some safety tips. You first may want to make sure you check the forecast for the area you plan on going and when. You may want to let others know where you plan to be as well as take an emergency phone, food and warm gear.

Winter storms can shift and roll into the area quick. So please try and be careful when you venture out.
