Some of us, when we hike we may take for granted the safety measures we must take when in the woods. Camp fires for example can be really dangerous. They can be very destructive, even one very small fire. You have to put out a fire properly or you may have no business even camping. If a fire is not properly built and then later extinguished, it could literally start a massive grass fire that could destroy homes and lives. These have happened before. They can destroy thousands of acres of land quickly and takes tons of money to put out.
